Really unfriendly, unwelcoming pub. Have just been on our 3rd and final visit. Thought that 3rd time lucky, we might get to eat this time? But, no, yet again, no food to be had ! and after a very long walk with kids!
Also interesting how the other glowing reviewer here mis spells menu(e) in exactly the same way as the pubs own facebook site does. . ?
With pubs closing everywhere it seems unbelievable that they still offer this horrendous customer service.
Advise you to travel a little further down the road to the Fools Nook - refreshingly friendly and lovely food.

I visited this pub last wed night with my friends and had the 2 courses for £7.50 special. Lots of choice and the meal was excellent value for money. I was so full but still managed to fit the homemade chocolate browny in! The staff were very helpful and the toilets were very clean and well presented. I had a quick look through the extensive regular menue and found a great choice for all and a good challenge for my hubby –the huge mixed grill! I will defiantly be going back for more! The Only downside was that there was 7 of us so we had to wait 20min for a table (next time I’ll book).
